Privacy Policy — PaperCove

What the app does with your information

• Your documents stay on your device. Every tool in PaperCove — scanning, merging, splitting, OCR, QR codes, and everything else — runs entirely on-device. Files you open are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
• No accounts. PaperCove has no sign-in, no user profiles, and no servers that store anything about you.
• No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no advertising identifiers, and no cross-app tracking.
• Permissions. PaperCove requests a single permission — Google Play Billing, used only for the optional Pro unlock. If you share a file into the app or save a result, that uses the normal system file picker — the app cannot see anything you don’t explicitly hand it.

Purchases

PaperCove Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or handle your payment details. Google’s privacy policy applies to the purchase itself: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data retention

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to retain and nothing to delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device.

Children

PaperCove is a general document utility with no data collection, so there is no children’s data to protect beyond the above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new effective date. Because the app collects no contact details, we cannot notify you directly — please check back here.
